Making a Shoals Christian School Education Possible
Thank you for considering Shoals Christian School (SCS) for your child's Kingdom Education. We understand that investing in your child's education by partnering with a Christian school requires careful financial planning. Knowing that the cost of Christian education can be a barrier for some families, SCS has implemented a Tuition Assistance Program to help lessen the financial burden and make Christian education a possibility for more families.
With several avenues available for Financial Aid, you will first need to discuss your family's need for financial assistance with the Head of School or Director of Admissions. Often, the need for tuition assistance in attending Shoals Christian is assessed by using FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition), an independent third-party financial aid evaluation agency that reviews information submitted and calculates the amount of financial aid awarded. All financial aid information, documentation and award amount are held in the strictest of confidence.
The purpose of Shoals Christian's Tuition Assistance program is to partner with families with a passion for Kingdom Education but who may find it to be cost prohibitive. All Tuition Assistance awards are made on the basis of a family's demonstrated financial need and are renewed annually.

If you desire to apply for Financial Aid to attend Shoals Christian School, please inform a member of our administration so as to be directed to the correct financial aid application. If instructed to apply for Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) financial aid, you will be directed to follow the following application steps:
AFTER you have completed and submitted an SCS enrollment application for each child, complete the FAST online application. To access, click this link: FAST
Click the Get Started button at the bottom of the first page. The application is self-guided and can be saved mid-session. Online e-mail and a 24/7 helpline is available.
A FAST application fee of $48.00 will be charged as 'Independent School Management.' The application fee is non-refundable and payable by MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
A copy of your most recent tax return, with all schedules, should be uploaded directly to FAST. The Business Manager can upload the documents electronically for you if brought to the school office. If you prefer to mail the documents, we can provide you a pre-addressed envelope from the school office.
Once the application process is completed, the school will be notified when the report is ready. You will be contacted by the school office if additional information is needed.
