Jr. High School

Junior High School is an exciting and transformative time when students take increasing ownership of their education and discover how their interests impact their future. Building on the academic and spiritual foundations established in elementary school, students are challenged to think critically and analyze the world around them through many opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and service.

In addition to the support found in small classes and a close-knit community, teachers at Shoals Christian work diligently to inspire each student to achieve their full potential, providing rigorous challenges and experiences that prepare them for high school and college.

Students in Junior High are encouraged to participate in our many fine arts and athletic programs to round out their educational experience.  These programs offer opportunities for students to not only discover and use their God-given gifts and talents but to continue building meaningful relationships with their peers.
