High School

The high school faculty at Shoals Christian School strive to connect with the student body spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

At Shoals Christian School, a faith-based community is created through opportunities including daily Bible classes, weekly chapels, and the integration of biblical worldview principles within the academic curriculum.

The college preparatory high school curriculum is designed to challenge students to achieve their maximum potential by focusing on instructional strategies that will engage students and encourage the development of critical thinking skills.

Early College, dual-enrollment courses through the University of North Alabama and Northwest Shoals Community College offer challenging options for select sophomores, juniors, and seniors and are available on the Shoals Christian campus by approved faculty members.  These early college courses allow the simultaneous earning of both high school and college credit and transfer easily to any college or university in the nation.

Shoals Christian students at the high school level are encouraged to participate in our fine arts, athletics and other extra-curricular programs.  These fine arts and athletic programs offer opportunities for students to not only discover and use their God-given gifts and talents but also to build meaningful relationships with their peers.
