Extended Care

1). Complete all steps on the Extended Care Registration Form under Resource Documents in FACTS/SIS.

2). Go to Web Forms in your FACTS Account and verify your Emergency/ Pick Up Contacts.

Shoals Christian School will use all Emergency/Pick up Contacts and any medical information that is listed for your student in the FACTS/SIS database. 

There are two Extended care options available:

1). Regular weekly attendance; fixed weekly rate billed in 10 monthly installments on tuition statement regardless of attendance.

2). Drop-in service for occasional use; a flat hourly rate will be charged to your FACTS/SIS account the following business day ($5/hour drop-in rate).

**Please note:  The $25 weekly rate becomes the more economical option for children attending 5 or more hours per week.  

Unless outside on the playground, children will be in the cafeteria and pick-up will be on the west side door of the school nearest to the cafeteria. A doorbell is available for you to gain admission to the building. All children attending the Extended Care Program must be signed out by their parents, legal guardians, or authorized persons when picked up each day. The Extended Care Director will provide a sign-out sheet daily. Children not picked up by 6:00 p.m. will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute for each additional minute.

In order for the Extended Care Director to be in contact with parents of the Extended Care Program, a group will be set up in the "Group Me" app. This will only be used when the Director will need to be in communication with the group as a whole. Contact persons set up in FACTS as parents/custody will have cell numbers set up in the app for each child.
