RenWeb School Management Software

Our RenWeb School Management Software gives you, the busy parent, an opportunity to get more involved in your child’s academic progress and future success – all via the Internet!

RenWeb’s ParentsWeb is a private and secure website that has been set up for our school to allow you to see complete information specific to your child.  You can view your child’s grades, attendance, homework and conduct, as well as other useful school information.  You can also communicate with teachers and other school staff online whenever necessary.  All you need is an Internet-capable computer.

Here’s how to access our easy-to-use RenWeb ParentsWeb:

  • Go to Internet Explorer and type in the address of our school website - www.shoalschristian.org
  • Click on the small RenWeb Graphic icon in the bottom right corner of our homepage.
  • Log in as follows:
    1. Click the First Time Users tab if you have not logged in to RenWeb before.  If you have, skip to Step 5.
    2. Enter your email address that you provided to the school.
    3. Click the Remember My Email? box if you would like the login screen to automatically populate your email address on subsequent logins.
    4. Click the New User button. You will receive an email containing your password within 3 minutes (to the email address you entered, which must be the same email address that you provided to the school). If you do not get an email from RenWeb containing your password, call the school office to obtain your password.
    5. Click the Parents tab.
    6. Enter the password assigned.
    7. Click the Parent Login button. Be patient. It takes about a minute to load the program.

You should now be logged in to the School Information home page of ParentsWeb.  To learn more about ParentsWeb, click the Tour the New ParentsWeb button to take a 6-minute video tour.

Note: If you are on a dial-up connection and experience long delays in loading the web pages, please select the Dial-up option on the Parents login page before clicking the Parent Login button. This will take you to a dial-up version of ParentsWeb that contains the same information but in a dial-up-friendly environment that requires fewer graphics.

Please call us if you have any problems or questions. We look forward to your participation.  Together we can continue to improve our children’s academic development as well as communication between our school and your home.

Special Announcements

From the Headmaster's Desk

Dear Parents,

At a recent meeting of Shoals Christian parents, tuition for 2011 -2012 was announced.  In addition, three significant initiatives, which will enhance the quality of our school, were presented.

These initiatives began to materialize during our accreditation process last year and continued into the current school year.   In order to meet the needs of students as well as attract additional students, the following will be implemented.

  • 1.   First, SCS will offer a K -3 program.  There have been numerous requests during the past few years for this program. From what we have gathered, there is a need in the community for a K- 3 program at SCS. The Administration and Board of Directors are confident that a vibrant K-3 program will channel students into our elementary school.
  • 2.   Second, elementary music will return to the curriculum. The value of a music program in enhancing learning is well documented.  Another benefit is that it will also provide an opportunity for more students to develop their talents and strengths in music.
  • 3.   Third, a search for a full-time elementary school principal will begin. The elementary school will benefit from a leader who is able to focus all their energies on guiding them.  Sharon Hammond has done a superb job as second grade teacher/ principal. It is her decision to remain full-time in the classroom.  Her genuine love for the students and the school is unparalleled.

Establishing a reasonable tuition schedule is always a challenging procedure.  The economy and what the market will withstand must be considered.  At the same time, it is important to keep in mind what is needed in order to continue offering a quality product that you have come to expect.  The tuition schedule listed will provide the much needed revenue to support these essential additions.

        Grades        Annual Tuition

  •          K-3             $3,495
  •          K-4             $3,695
  •          K-5             $3,900
  •          1st              $4,265
  •          2nd &  3rd    $4,600
  •          4th -  6th      $4,785
  •          7th -  12th    $4,935

On behalf of the faculty and staff of SCS, I thank you for allowing us the privilege of educating your child from a Christ-centered worldview.  Our desire is for them to be transformed into young men and women who become salt and light in the world they live.

In Christ,

Tom Hughes, Headmaster
