We are now interviewing for the following positions.

Secondary History Teacher for Junior High and/or Senior High grades 7-12

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with an endorsement in history or social science, advanced degrees preferred
  • Teaching experience and teacher certification desired
  • Possess a strong knowledge and background in history/social science
  • Demonstrate an ability to teach all levels and history courses (junior high & senior high)
  • Ability to teach Advanced Placement courses or Dual Enrollment courses (18 graduate hours in history/social science) is an asset
  • Create an effective, challenging educational environment that is favorable to student learning and personal growth
  • Flexibility to coach and direct activities (i.e., athletic teams and/or academic clubs)

    Start date: August 2, 2017

Campus Pastor / Worldview Class Teacher for Senior High grades 9-12

  • Bi-vocational
  • Masters degree (preferred) from an accredited U.S. Christian seminary whose beliefs must line up with the Shoals Christian's doctrinal statements
  • Lead faculty devotions weekly
  • Organize Senior High chapel weekly
  • Believes that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God
  • Arrange spiritual retreats and mission opportunities
  • Guide student-led discipleship

Start Date:  August 2, 2017
