The elementary school of Shoals Christian consists of grades K-5 through 6.
Our approach in the early grades focuses on the development of young minds through the practice and mastering of new skills. Students receive a solid foundation in reading, math, social studies, science, and Bible. Teachers encourage students to do their best in the classroom; offering individualized help to students who need encouragement and challenging others who may excel beyond class requirements. Our curriculum in the elementary school is specifically designed to prepare students for the challenges presented in our middle and high school grades and incorporates curricula from a number of different textbook publishers.
Weekly music, guidance lessons, computer classes, art classes, library and daily physical education classes are taught by specialists. These activities help students develop skills that will enable them to become life-long learners.
